Red Pontiac a red variety of the Pontiac and holds its skin color better.  Large potatoes, under unfavorable conditions they become too large and there for undesirable.  The potatoes are oblong to round, blunt at the end, skin smooth or sometimes netted eyes medium deep with white flesh.
