   the
   bosc has a long tapering neck, the skin color is dark yellow overlaid with 
      cinnamon russet, which varies in intensity depending upon climatic and 
      conditions.  Flesh yellowish white, some grit at the center, buttery 
      but not melting, very juicy.  aromatic, the flavor, rates among the 
      best in dessert quality when properly grown.  On the Market October
