 Creste di galli CRAY-stay dee GAH-lee This version of Italian pasta is shaped like creste di galli ("cockscomb or rooster’s crest" in Italian) and has a short hollow curved macaroni shape with a ruffle of pasta along the length of the outside curve. It is served with meat sauces and in casseroles.
