Red Spanish 3 to 5 lbs. with a squarish shape, pale yellow fibrous flesh, aromatic and spicy acid flavor.  This variety is grown in Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Florida.  The Red Spanish is sold mostly to the fresh market. The tough shell makes this variety a favorite among shippers.
