Tommy Atkins  The fruit is medium large, 16 to 25 ounces, somewhat oblong, base rounded, stout stem inserted obliquely in shallow cavity, small beak, a dorsal sloping shoulder, slightly undulating surface, and round apex.   The skin has a purplish bloom, ground color orange yellow, blush of bright red, large dots, numerous and yellow green.  The quality is fair to good, the flesh is juicy and moderately fibrous.  the fruit  matures early in the season, June to July.
