Originally
developed in Germany and migrated throughout Europe and to Italy before
being imported to Britain. This exclusive goose breed is grown
commercially for meat in North America due to its large size, white
feathering and rapid growth. Probably one of the more attractive breeds of geese, this variety is larger and taller than others with a bright orange bill with flesh colored bean and legs, blue eyes and pure white body feathers.
